ok i have a greddy turbo kit on my stock D15B and the kit is from a D16Z6 my emanage system when i crank the car up the active light flashes green then turns red. What does this mean and how do i fix it.

it an error in the unit, similar like the mil light... see which error code its flashing and correct it... what you do is when the car starts the led will change from green to red, then shut off the car and then put the key into on position (dont start) this will put it in check mode.. count the flashes same like the mil

here are few common errors

11 - airflow signal 1 input error, incorrect wiring or disconnected wire
12 - airflow signal 2 input error, incorrect wiring or disconnected wire or JP3 wrong setting
13 - Jp4 setting wrong
14 - Vtec signal input error or wrong setting on JP4
15 - Airflow voltage error
16 - Vtec signal output error or wrong setting on JP3

if it are any of these does anyone know where these inputs ir thibgs are located and how to check to see what the prob is??

"ding ding"I just rememberd there are seperate settings for vtec and nonvtec cars when running emanage as yours is setup for a Z6 the jumper pins are wrong for your car also the fuel maps are probably way off too (too rich where vtec was on the Z6) You should goto greddys site they have manuals in adobe format if I recall find the jumper pin settings change them back then take it and get tuned or get the support software so you can do it yourself

just thought id save you the trouble i had a faq where the jumper settings are given check them with yours...

your rotary should be 2-8-A for honda


Jumper settings inside the E-manage:

JP1 Ignition input pullup/pulldown select
1-2 A resistor is pulled down to ground
2-3 A resistor is pulled up the +ve rail
* Use 1-2 when the ECU's driver transistor is
connected to ground
* Use 2-3 when the ECU's driver transistor is
connected to +ve (5V or 12V will determine JP2's
setting)
Supposedly you can see the input voltage in the Main Unit Setting
Information window. If it's 0v, use 1-2. If it's 5v or more, use 2-3.

JP2 Ignition output select
1-2 Output resistor connected to +5V
2-3 Output resistor connected to +12V
* This will depend on the ECU ignitor signals output
* JP2 enables the e-manage to duplicate the amplitude
of the original signal

JP3 airflow/VTEC output select
1-2 2nd airflow meter
2-3 VTEC
* Even if you don't have a 2nd airflow meter, leave it on 1-2 for non-
VTEC applications

JP4 airflow/VTEC input select
1-2 VTEC
2-3 2nd airflow meter
* Even if you don't have a 2nd airflow meter, leave it on 2-3 for non-
VTEC applications
* On 1-2, enables pulldown resistor (for use as VTM signal). This is
required because the VTM output is inverted with the VTEC out.

JP5/JP6 Sub injector drivers
Jumper off - Disabled
1-2 - Enabled
* Only enable if you're going to control extra injectors with the E-
manage

JP7 VTEC
1-2 Non-VTEC
Jumper off - VTEC
* On 1-2, enables pullup resistor (for use as MAF output)

dude download the manual it has everything you need... anyway.. i have installed the greddy on a few d15 jdm's heres the setting i used

rotary setting 2-8-A

JP1 ~ 2-3
JP2 ~ 2-3
JP3 ~ 2-3
JP4 ~ 1-2
JP5 ~ Open
JP6 ~ Open
JP7 ~ Open

but i cant get the ino to come up onto my laptop anything i need to do special to get the info from the unit to my laptop
