Look normally as far as tech or mech questions I'm pretty good at figuring out what's wrong but this time I can't. I have a squeaking or grinding noise in the front of my car when ever I take off or stopp hard. I got out of the car and pressed down on the drivers side fender (pushing down) and it made it again as if it's coming from the shock mount area or somewhere. I actually thought that maybe the bearings have gone out in the upper perch but not sure if my car even has em'. BTW I have a 93' EG6. Does anybody have a clue what it might be. At fist intially I thought it was a motor mount but there is no way it could be if it made the noise when I pressed down on it could it?

How could I check the upper ball joints? I just replaced the lower ball joints and tire rod ends. It's gotta be upper ball joints.
