Here's a quick walk through install on the Injector Dynamics ID1000.

We offer them here...

The Injector set with clips:

These are by far the simplest aftermarket injectors to install !

This write up will contain photos from a K Series install, which install basically the same on the D series.

Start by releiving some of the fuel pressure by opening the gas tank lid. Then at the bay, start by removing the factory wiring from the fuel rail and detach the OE clips from the injectors. Loosen the rail and pull it off. The stock injectors will typically come out with it. (On the D/B series, a small pic is a great tool to use to open the retainer pin on the OE clips)

Here is a comparison next to the stock RSX-S injector

Next, go ahead and unloom the stock harness so you have ample room to cut and reconnect the new injector clips supplied. For this a soldering iron, heat shrink, and electrical tape is required)

Clip the stock injectors off and install the new clips. It is advised to solder and heat shrink the connection. Remember to slide the heat shrink on before you connect the wire and have it far away enough from the iron so that it doesnt shrink wile soldering.

Once all 4 are done, simply install the injector in the rail, install the rail back to the manifold with the injectors in the appropriate position, and reconnect them. (The RSX OEM rail clips fit the ID1000s just as they fit the stock injectors)

You can use the stock harness covering again for an OE look

The order of the clips does not matter since the 4 clips are the same. I always solder the 2 wires with the new clip in the same orientation as the old clip.

maybe mention that the ID Injectors for the d series require you to install the extra top hat so that it goes into our fuel rail...i used petroleum jelly to lube the O ring for the top hat and when installing it into the actual fuel rail.
