Damn, that seems pretty bad... Oil should have a nice, clear amber color. Ouch!
Any problems driving it?
2nd has always been a bit rough going in, Shifiting has been getting less and less smooth and it tried to get stuck in gear once or twice this week.

hmm sounds bad. Good thing these trannys are so cheap!

ya man, drive it, just be easy, I drove mine for 10000 km's before I replaced it, and I was fuckin hard on it, near the end 2nd gear would pop out if I didn't hold it in, but all the other gears gave me no trouble! Flush it, drive it, but try not to waste too much time finding a new one, I have a feeling I had a miracle tranny...

Liquid shifter fork, nice job.
It's aluminum for sure? Where the heck is my magnet??!?

It's a used tranny bought from a member on this site, I haven't even put a 1000 miles on it. What can fuxxor a shifter fork so bad? Wouldn't that render the tranny inoperable? It was only mildly misbehaving.

My halftshaft seal was leaking, but lit was less than half a quart low when I drained it. Think I screwed it up or did I get shafted by the guy I bought it from? (digs through old PMs and emails)

are you running a cable or hydro tranny? I have friend here that has a 99 ex tranny he wants $300 for. It has less than 15,000 miles on it. He bought it, then blew his motor and swapped in a gsr motor :lol:
