I have:
AEM CAI
DC 4-1 Header
Magnaflow cat
DC Cat-Back
AND
Its a bit loud for my liking and drones

I was considering buying a Vibrant Ultra-quiet Resonator to swap out for 18" bottleneck style one that is on there already.... (cut and weld)

What do you guys think?

5g EX tranny with .771 5th, 3500 rpm at 70 mph was painful. The car was FUN with that gear....but my ears HATED it, esp. on 500 mile road trip.

Now when cruising at 70-75 mph, no need to down shift into 4th, just roll the throttle to make a pass and slide back over to the slow lane...yeah that part was nice!

I went to a 40 series flowmaster and it is almost silent at speed, it can get loudish on the way up but that is the fun part. Once cruising or at low speed shes quiet as a mouse.

The straight through mufflers have this issue, mine is just small enough to be noisy when I want but has enough stuffing to keep the drone away. Plus it is a life time muffler, 3 years on it still looks good.
