Ok I have a 95 sedan and it is a hydro trans. I just pulled a transmission out my buddy's Civic EF and it is cable trans. The transmission in the 95 Sedan is no good 2nd gr is gone and 1st & 3rd gr doesn't like to engage real easily. The transmission out of the Civic EF its good all gears engage and none scratch. I was thinking pull out all the gears out of the cable trans and pull out all the gears in the hydro trans. And put the good Cable trans gears in the Hydro trans case. That way i cant still have a Hyrdo trans in the 95 sedan and dont got to convert the 95 to cable. I wanna know if anyone has tried this or not. If they did what problems did they run into and stuff like that. Honestly i don't see why it wouldn't work but if it doesnt someone please let me know by the end of the week. thanks
