Ok, I've overlooked a big problem with my mini-me. It seems the fuel rail from an OBD1 head will not fit on the y8 manifold. The OBD1 fuel rail has holes for 3 posts, while the y8 manifold has only 2 posts that don't line up correctly.

My problem is that I don't have a y8 fuel rail (or y7). Is there any way to jury rig it to get an OBD1 fuel rail to fit on there? I guess I could just buy a y8/y7 fuel rail to put on there... anyone got one in LA? I need it asap!

I don't know of a way to get the OBD1 fuel rail on there. I just happen to have a Y8 fuel rail and fuel line here if you need it. PM me if you do

Also check ebay. I just bought a y8 fuel rail + fpr + injectors w/only 34k mi for $10.50 + shipping. Stuff just happened to show up yesterday.

Just use the OBD1 injectors on the Y8 rail/IM.

Nope, isn't going to work. There is a divit in the rail right where one of the holes needs to be drilled. Looks like I'm going to the junkyard or Honda... I really wanted to get this done this weekend.

yes you can drill i had simular prob when i ut a z6 im on my y7
the y7 fuel rail didnt line up with the mounting points on the im so i just drilled new mounting holes in the im an it workd fine for me

I used a Y7 rail with my Y8 mani swap..fit perfect.
