snapped one off on both front wheels, never really gotten a look at the hub, but i was wondering if once you get the hub off if the plate comes off the rest of the hub so i can pound out the broken studs and press the new ones in?

After you take off the spindle. You will have to press the hub out with some sort of arbor press. Then you will be able to knock out the studs. After you knock them out. You will have to press the hub back into the spindle. If it were me while you are going threw all that trouble. I would if you have alot of miles on the car change out the wheel bearings as well as upgrading to the ARp studs as long as you don't mind them sticking out.
