Here's the deal. Bought a re-maned head (p2j-3) with rear cam seal installed already.

My rebuild kit came with both front and rear cam seals.
My dog chewed them and didnt completely destroy them but marked it up enough to where i cannot see the numbers on their faces???

Is there any way to tell them apart visualy, without a refrence designater i am sure it will be difficult.

any help/advice ?

Uhm, if we're talking about a SOHC head here...there is only one "cam seal", and that's on the cam gear side. The front main (or oil pump seal) is close in size...so you might have it confused with it.
