Can i swap a US D15B8 flywheel to a JDM D15b Vtec motor??? also are motor parts interchangable from one to the other...i.e timing belt....alternator belt....spark plugs....etc??

oh and how about distributor rotor cap??

The closest cousin to the D15B is a D16Z6.

Distributor cap: 93 Del Sol Si... get Borg Warner... best construstion (same for rotor)

the flywheel should fit great. no prob there. Spark plugs and anything on the head is gonna be from a 93 Del Sol Si.

Timing belt will be a VX belt.... I think they started making those in 94 or 96.... just keep checkin till they find it.


plugs: stay with stock NGK's from the Del Sol Si.... best choice in my opinion.


make sure you use the Vx belt... everything else will not fit, or make a horrible whine like you got a supercharger installed...... not good to cam bearings.
