Is there anything special i need to do in oreder to circulate oil through the turbo without actually starting the engine? Basically, do i need to get it pre lubed so it doesnt tear it up upon startup?
If so, what is the process that i need to go about to do this?
go under the dash near the fuse panel. there should be a brown plug. disconnect it and crank the car 3-4 times. that should lubricate the turbo enough to start it.
that plug goes to fuel pump. i don't remember what it's called.
the directions that came with mine were to pull the ecu fuse under the hood and leave the return line off the oil pan. Then turn it over 'till you see oil coming out of the return.
unclip your injectors along with your spark plug wires and crank the motor.. to make sure that the turbo was properly lubricated i would use vtecduck's suggestion^^^^^^^^^^
