Is there anything special i need to do in oreder to circulate oil through the turbo without actually starting the engine? Basically, do i need to get it pre lubed so it doesnt tear it up upon startup?

If so, what is the process that i need to go about to do this?

thanks

hold the blades and have someone start it. then hold them for 30 seconds. thats what the directions that came with my turbonetics turbo.

go under the dash near the fuse panel. there should be a brown plug. disconnect it and crank the car 3-4 times. that should lubricate the turbo enough to start it.

that plug goes to fuel pump. i don't remember what it's called.

^^^ and also adjust the pressure of the oil going to the turbo....

rule of thumb:
30-40 psi on cold startup
5 psi when at a warm idle
20 psi at WOT

^^^ derived from "Maximum Boost" by: Corky Bell

too much oil pressure will blow the seals!!!!

the directions that came with mine were to pull the ecu fuse under the hood and leave the return line off the oil pan. Then turn it over 'till you see oil coming out of the return.
