so i ve been telling you guys about my high comression build well instead of taking my previous head to the machine shop i traded my hx wheels that i got for free that had bad cur rash on 2 rims and no tires for a head that has not been used fresh from the machine shop with a shaved vtec valve cover aem cam and cam gear :3dbiggrin:

HERES THE PIC I MESSED UP WHEN I DID THE TREAD BUT AT LEAT I LEARNED HOW TO GET A WHOLE PICTURE AND NOT A LINK LOL

well the insides of were the valves are all clean and free of carbon and the outside was clean till i grabbed it multiple times with my greasy as hands

head looks good.
if there is a cam in that head & valves, etc. you should not be resting it on that side on the valves on hard surfaces. You can bend your valves that way. either rest it on a soft surface or put it on its side.

something like this also works well

machine shop gave me mine back, and i threw it in the back of the bed of the pickup because i was pissed
