Translation for anyone able to help:

Is there a d16 whose end is thinner? Neither the crank gear (pulley?) nor the bolt fits.

Is the crank gear going on backwards? Why is it being installed before the oil pump?
And please for my sanity scrub that gear down and wash it before installing onto a fresh short block, lol.

I see what he's talking about now.

The arrows in his picture point to the dark side so its hard to see, but see the gap between the sprocket and snout as the sprocket inner diameter radius begins to move away from the snout? Here:

You have a small snout (0.845") crankshaft installed, and need the large snout (0.944") to have your accessory pulley and bolt work.

OP, if a machine shop did this work for you, tell them they need to source a D16 crank with the large snout.
