I was told i can buy an entire EX exhaust system (headers, hi flow cat, catback) and put that on my 98 dx hatchback is this true..? I would think the ex coupe catback wouldnt fit....!!!!!

why buy an exhaust with pipes already ?

go buy a y8 header, extend your o2 sensor to the bottom of the car , replace the cat with either a y8 oem one or an aftermarket one and go get a custom exhaust made that way you wont have any fitment issues

but im not in the greatest place to have a custom exhaust made, i dont have access to any import shops that would do that

it's mostly muffler shops that do that work, not import shops.

I know where this guy is coming from. Here in columbia, if you ask a muffler shop to do a mandrel bent exhaust they will either be like "whats that?" or be like no we can only crush bend. I called every shop in the yellow pages and no one wanted to help me with mandrel bends.

I would recommend buying the catback kit from kteller.com and have that welded and fitted to your car with the muffler of your choice.
