I own a 1991 CRX with a D16A8, i have a built d16y7 that im getting in july along with a custom turbo kit.
Right now I have a PM7 ECU, and was wondering if this ECU would work fine with the Y7 or would it be more safe to get the P2E? also will the D16y7 drop right in with this turbo kit into my CRX? And how much boost do you guys suggest I run with this setup safely?

The D16Y7 I am picking up:
Eagle H-Beam Rods
CP Pistons .20 over
Crank Polished
Oil holes chamfered
RC440cc's
Stock head (has slight street port job)

Custom turbo kit:
Big 16g Turbo
Custom Ramhorn Manifold - Schedule 10 stainless
Collector is Schedule 40 stainless
Stainless downpipe 2.75in, external dump
TurboXS RFL BOV
Big FMIC
IC piping is mildsteel/aluminum
All couplers are silicone and all clamps are Tbolt style

tune the pm or7 just get a p06 or p75 and get it tuned....none of the ecus will be safe stock
So the D16Y7 wired to the PM7 will run?
And then if I get it tuned it will be safe?
I thought I had to get a different ECU, maybe I'm wrong though...

dont forget this stuff with the turbo. oil line injectors wastegate fuel pump

Also the d16y7 is OBD2 which harness are you going to use when dropping in the motor.
His stock harness is fine of he is running the d16a8 and also all of his questions have been answered in our faqs and even more anywhere else on the web. OP needs to learn how to do research before posting
