Well, I inquired this B18b1 as a trade for my D15b that had a bad crank.

The whole b18 is dis-assembled.

I need to put it back together, piece by piece. First off, The cams are starting to get that "surface rust" from sitting up for a while, how do I get rid of it? Also, how do I take wrist pins out?

I pretty much would like a guide on rebuilding the whole motor, I can't find a helms manual anywhere. I have the general know how of how to rebuild a motor, but I would like to go step by step with a guide, as this is only my second rebuild.

Thanks!

as for the wrist pins, you cant do that, you will have to have them pressed out at a machine shop. are you planning on building the motor or goin with OEM parts?
OEM parts for now, I have access to a press.

The number 4 piston had started to melt since it was boosted on without proper tuning. The rest of the motor looks mechanically sound.

I will be boosting it, after my job kicks off here shortly.
