I recently bought an EG8 with a d15b 3 stage vtec engine and 5fwd manual transmission.
My question is what can i do to tune/upgrade the ECU to get some more performance out of the motor?

Most def in the wrong forum section but I'll answer with what little knowledge I've got.


You're going to have to chip your ecu and then you have a few options. You might want to buy a wideband as well.

Cheapest = street tune from the guy that lives down the street
Most expensive = Dyno tune from a proven tuner

And there's always things inbetween.

Best bet, chip it and learn to tune a/f on chrome or something. I've never gotten a street tune but I hear if you know what you're doing they're not bad at all.
