Here's what I think I know:
The overall length of the shock/fork for the EF is the same (or real close) to the EG. The Ef has a shorter shock/longer fork and the EG has a longer shock/shorter fork.

Here is the question:
Is what I said above actually true?

We have trouble getting decent rally coil-overs for our EF Hatch and have more options with EG stuff. If we can get a set of EG forks and the overall length is the same (or close), we can make it work and have much better suspension.

I thought the ef has the shorter fork.....

You may be right. I guess the real question is the overall length of the shock/fork unit. I can mix and match to get what we need.

EG shock gets EG forks, even when installed on an EF

Per Lee Grimes @ KONI NA as I my EF Sedan was going to be a test mule for the Orange STR.T shocks before they came out.
