so, here goes.. i managed to get my hands on a chipped ecu, thats tuned for the turbo setup it came with.. injectors etc etc.. BUT! its a p06.. and i'm running a non v-tec d15b7 right now.. that i want to play with before i get money together to have a proper low compression d16z6 in there with all of those goodies.. soo.. can i plug in the chipped p06.. or will the world explode if i try that?

if you dont have whatever injectors the ecu is mapped for it wont run.

also you can have vtec added to the p06 but all in all you need a new map for whatever setup you have.

ah i see, so having the d15b7, and the d16z6 ecu.. will just mean it needs to be tuned regardless

Stock P28 will handle a D15B7 nicely even with CEL 22.

No speed limiter
6800 rpm limiter

Yeah, tested in 1999.
