alright....so as I'm learning more about my honda computer brain(the power behind the powerplant as i like to call it), i found several things out. 1) OBD II sucks for performance. 2) if I'd like to run Hondata, I need to get an OBD I with harness, and 3) I need to learn more. now here's the question, does anybody know where I can even start to find OBD I's and harnesses. and I'd like to try and avoid ebay, because you're never sure what you're buying there. and also, what do you think of the idea of using hondata and apexi VAF-C together. one last thing, how much do you think this would run me $ wise? any help would be greatly appreciated. I love coming to you guys, cause you go easy on us n00bs.

i know that you don't want to hear it but, ebay. just watch out what ecu you buy. look at the auto or manual ecu post here http://www.d-series.org/viewtopic.php?t=2676 . allot of people on ebay are selling auto ecu's and saying that they are 5-speed. also always pay with paypal. that way if you buy something and it's wrong you have some sort of way to get your money back. i already got my money back once. you can also find the conversion harness on there to.

alright, i guess i can take that. any businesses you guys know of, (or even people you know) that sell these? or is it pretty much just wait and see for one to show up on ebay?

if u get a fully tunned hondata ecu then the VAF-C would be a waste(from my view). all could really use it for would be the vtec controller but hondata changes the vtec cross over anywayto what u want it to be. what kind of car do you have? you could go obd 1 with the harness and get a differnt ecu chipped and you would save some money. if you switch it then for example i have a 96 dx with the harness and run a chip non vtec ls computer i get i higher rev limit and more fuel and it was at least half the price of hondata. but another major thing if you dont really have a buit up engine like u only got Cai some header and exhuast your really not going to see a major differnce your not going to get 23whp from ecu tunning mybe 8 or less 2cents good luck
