hey people.

where i had a few clearences issues with my OE fuel filter i've had to remove the securing bracket and bend the filter under the charge piping.

i have been thinking about mounting an earls 35 micron barb'd ended filtter to the fire wall. am i ok to just hack saw the hard fuel line off where it starts to come up the fire wall and jubilee clip some braided fuel hose to it?

also what bandjo adaptor do i need for the fuel rail?

cheers.

luke.

I forget the thread spec on the end of the fuel rail, but you can get a thread to AN fitting adapter to fit it and not worry about banjo bolts. (I dislike them immensely for most applications.)

I have heard the term jubilee clip before, but don't know the specifics, so I can't comment on that. However, you could cut the end off, and plut a flair fitting on it, flaring the end (preferably a double flare to repven leaks for sure), and that would be pretty clean.
