i had the same issue with some p2p0s the other day, had been sitting on my shelf for a few years. some pb blaster soaking for a bit and they broke loose

Oh well that makes sense then. What's the best way to get them off?
Buy a vise and either buy a rod holder like the proform rod vise or buy a set of aluminum cover jaws so you don't ding up your rods.

Clamp them hard vertically and use a 1/2" size breaker bar with appropriate socket.

yep thats what i did after some PB blaster. my little 1/4 adapter one took it off fine so any 1/2" should pop them right off.
