Full interior 97 civic coupe (even the spare tire and jack)+ Im about 200lbs.
I couldnt get the car to hook for shit in first and second.
I was on Falken Ziexs.
I popped out of 1st on the last run.
I have vids that Il post later.

Are my times slow for that mph? There was a couple cars there that were on slicks with the same mph running 12s. Just curious

should be able to knock that 60ft to about 2.3 2.2 with some supension work/motor mounts

slicks would be a good step up and lower it even more

What are you doing waiting for the green light, leave on the last yellow.

Don't be in a big rush to buy slicks, learn how to launch the car with preloading, it will save axles later on.

Nice to see you out there racing your car where it's safe and legal.

some good advice has already been said!
Street tires are hard to race on, it takes some gettuign used to. But def do not launch at like 5500 and dump the clutch..your only going to spin or wheel hop or both. I think the most i ever launched at was 4200 rpm, and slip the clutch out, don't dump it, you hook alot better..

You might think, oh but im not going as fast...try it a fewe times. IF what your doing is not working...and you keep doing the same thing with the same results, try something different..thats how i learned. for example..
well dumping the clutch off the line and revving high is getting me 2.5 60 foots... lets try launching low enough not to bog, and slip the clutch out once i started doing this, i lirterally could get 2.2x 60 foots every time..i have 30 time slips in a row with 2.2's on them.

p.s your mph in that car is def good for a high 12 sec run on slicks.
I went from a 14.00 @103mph on 17" rims to a 13.28 @ 103 mph in my 98 full interior 4 door civic. When you put slicks on its liek you own a new car lol.

I actually was preloading and launching at 3800. The last one I launched at 4300. I Leave after the car next to me just incase he looses control or something stupid. I have luck like that.

Damn your close to me. How long ago did Chris tune your car? BTW might want to change that y7 head!
Its A Y7 bottom and Y8 head. Chris started at 11 and ended around 3.
