We'll I called my tuner right now.To see if what every body is saying is true? I guess my boost gauge is showing 15psi. but in reality it's 11psi. My bad I didn't know that part!!! He said that he told me last night.(Idon't remember)! Even the numbers that. I have I'm still not happy But I guess That's how it go's....
^^^^^^ your pic didnt show up so i fixed it for ya.......
THX!!!
get that boost gauge fixed.............

i dunno man, i think you should be happy with those #'s considering its on a stock block. Your tuner better be damn good if you want the motor to last at that power level for very long.

But how does the car pull? Pretty quick?
The tuner Survion he's one of the one of the best, from colordado.
your TQ falls pretty bad after 6300 RPM ..
220 at 15psi sounds more liek numbers from a 14b than a t3/t4, lol
Hey dont hate on the tiny snails LOL, my t25 made 211hp on 10psi...

Also your power shouldnt be falling off like that on that size turbo!
LOL he tuner your car at a 13:1 AFR. That thing wont live long. You should fire him and not drive that car. in boost your should be low 12's to high 11's. What are your EGT's?

Listen to this man... he REALLY knows what he's talking about.

yea I was gona say ummm thats what my NA y8 A/F readout looks like....
Add a little more fuel and a couple degrees of timing and the numbers will go up.
I dunno if they'll go up(leaners meaner, remember?) but it will for sure be safer. Should be around 11.9 or 12:1 ...13.:1 is what NA motors should be tuned at man. Not bad power for 11lbs though. Definitely go back for a retune soon though. Remind your tuner that it's a boosted car and not an NA car lol. Keep us updated.
Servion has a reputation for being an Excellent tuner.
He's in the same class of tuner as Jeff Evans, St00pid, etc... He definitely knows how to make power...

As for power, if you are using a 5psi spring, the most you're probably boosting is 10-11psi. The rule is that you can doble your spring with a boost controller.
220 sounds pretty good for 10-11 psi but definitely not for 15psi... Time to pitch that gauge... At 15psi on a 16G i'm making 272hp, and 240tq...

Thanks for making that clear regarding survion. As for a boost gauge what's good im using a autometer

I like the Japanese brands... Apexi, Greddy, HKS, Omori...
Autometer's usually good though, so I don't know what to tell you...
I have the APEXI for boost + a Profec B Spec 2 which also reads boost pressure...
Anyone that tunes a boosted car in the 13's does NOT know what they are doing.
maybe it was a tailpipe sniffer. from my experience, they always read leaner than a wideband placed on the DP

I've never met the guy, but servion's rep precedes him. 340hp 305 tq On stock sleeves...

I'd say he know's what he's doing. As for the 13:1 AFR, I don't know how he was measuring, but he's a tuner that reads the plugs to see how the engine's doing... Also, once you've hit MBTT, you can pull fuel and add timing safely
jeff evans has pulled 420 whp out of a stock d16z6 with ARP headstuds. it has been running for 2 years. 1st time was at around 300whp, then they uped it to 380, now its at 420. its all in the tune. this was Epic tunings EF hatch BTW
