We'll guys looking to hit 300whp :skull: today @ 6pm on dynojet? street tuned yesterday night with survian. (Vtec) is working properly now lets see if this d16y8 can handle it on a stock bottom end??????

You guys are funny! Anyways I didn't hit 300hp. Only made 220hp with 180tq.
I fuk up forgot to upgrade my wastegate spring , left it at home. Able to push 15psi on a 5lbs spring. (maxed out).Vtec kicks in at 4000rpm full boost at 5000 rpms. My tuner told me there's still room for 75hp safely.That would put me at 295hp.We'll mybe next time!!! I'll post a vid and the dyno graph later tonight..

so on a t3/t4 57 trim which you said you had in anothe thread you only got 220 whp at 15 psi? or did you change you setup?

The only thing I had changed on my setup was engage vtec.

We'll I called my tuner right now.To see if what every body is saying is true? I guess my boost gauge is showing 15psi. but in reality it's 11psi. My bad I didn't know that part!!! He said that he told me last night.(Idon't remember)! Even the numbers that. I have I'm still not happy But I guess That's how it go's....

The tuner Survion he's one of the one of the best, from colordado.

Servion has a reputation for being an Excellent tuner.
He's in the same class of tuner as Jeff Evans, St00pid, etc... He definitely knows how to make power...

As for power, if you are using a 5psi spring, the most you're probably boosting is 10-11psi. The rule is that you can doble your spring with a boost controller.
220 sounds pretty good for 10-11 psi but definitely not for 15psi... Time to pitch that gauge... At 15psi on a 16G i'm making 272hp, and 240tq...

If is wasn't for my 5psi spring I could of hit 300whp safely by Servion. On stock sleevs. Yes I'm using arp's that's the weakest part of the motor head bolts...

You said its stock. The weakest point will be the rods. Not to mention the Y8 oiling issues.

actually the weakest point would be the head bolts.But I got arp's in , as for the oil pump it works fine untill you get over 7300rpms. :hammer:

Yestarday I was out driving around, I have a plx 300 wideband wanted to check my a/f ? As I went into boost 12.7 5psi a/f full boost 12psi 12.3 - 11.9. I also checked my plugs there looking good.So my A/F is good....
