I have a 5th gen civic vx hatch and the passenger side door handle sticks open when someone gets in. Is there a way to fix this???? I took the door panel off and tried to lube it up from the inside but no luck....its actually worse now :(

Please help!!

get new doorhandle?
im not for sure if thats the problem though....I think it might be the mechanism in the door thats sticking....I just didnt know if there was a way to fix that lol

take the handle off and check to see if there is a clearence issue....now if that isnt it try and look at where all the door mechinisms are like handle and lock connectto where the actual locking mechinism is and lube dat or wd40 the s*** out of it....thats what i think

the spring could also be weak.,....same thing happens on my rear doors in the eg8

^ yes, this old of car, springs could be the case. do you have the shop manual for your car. This would be helpful in identifying other things that might be the cause.
