Does p06 ecu cut fuel during decel? Innovate lc1 goes off chart lean on decel

After googling the initial condition, many newer cars simply cut pulse width to zero on quick deceleration in gear.

Hell even the 97 crown vic does it.

My wideband is exhibiting similar oddities, but im not sure if my obd1 ecu does that.

It FLIES off the scale, but then returns to a high 14 or low 15 if i add the tiniest bit of throttle.

Is this indicative of the kind of false lean I can expect from an upstream gasket failure causing a slightly noticeable tick under load from the leak? Is this normal behavior because of a decel fuel cut? Or do I have a sensor/ ground offset issue?

It's hit 13:1 or lower on initial acceleration, but stays near 14 as the revs rise, even full throttle, second gear, flat surface. Cruising afrs are steady and smooth so I dunno if the tic is the culprit, the only other problem I had w a leak in the past gave me inconsistent cruise and idle afrs.
