I used a big new bolt and a lock washer, do I need to add a little locktite? It lined up great and is all in time so I don't want to take it back apart

Im not a fan of loctite in regards to a small steel bolt going into aluminum.

If it truly makes you feel better, one or 2 drops halfway up teh bolt should be okay.

If its a new bolt, just torque it to spec and leave it alone. It will work fine.

Yeah, it's a new bolt. The last one was really chewed up. But it looks great! I timed it, first attempt, spun it sounds like 3 times and it's still tight everywhere and the little cam marks line up

I'm more worried about the old bolt pulling threads from the block, thus needing threadlocker on the new on.

na, it was just the head was rounded off. had to hammer a smaller socket onto it, ruined the socket... but it came off. it was either that, or weld a nut onto it... but i didnt want to go that route
