i just got a new fully built head, and then im sending out my bottom end to get done, and i also have a turbo kit for it. I am probably going to need to rebuold my tranny. Is it a good idea anyway. I think my front bearing is going, and also my 2nd gear synchro. Should i get it rebuilt, or should i just look for a different tranny? i know all d-series bolt up, any suggestions?

Depends what trans do you have now? If you already have an SI tranny with good gearing, rebuild it. You will thank yourself in the long run. I just bought a used tranny in "good cond" with "no grinds" guess what. It grinds and was full of water!! If you have a cx/dx/vx trans, buy a used tranny and plan on rebuilding it. Just my opinion.
