For those who whant their ITR airbox a little bit stiffer in the engine bay and have a propper fit.

1. we get a OEM ITR airbox holder

2. we fabricate some extensions out of a 2mm thick steel

this is where they go to

3. now that we have the metal sheets and know where they go, we have to adjust the 90° piece and prep them for welding

this is how it looks after welding and cleaning

4. we use the OEM holes 1 is from the EG box and the 2. is where the gear ground is conected to the chassis they fit perfect :thumb: to mark where the new holes have to be in the extension. After marking where the holes have to be i used a 8mm drill to give the 6mm skrew some air.

in my case i had to use a file to open up a pocket for the clutch line

5. re paint it

and this is how it looks in the car

here you can see why i had to file a pocket in the holder

and now with airbox

Great diy!

Whats the point of ITR airbox?Better flow than stock? :)

Airbox with cone filter or stock panel?
the dc teg box is the same, theres another tube on the bottom that pulls in air from behind the bumper like a cold air intake.
pretty much its a less expensive ice box like mugen, comptec which are like $300+.
I spent $20 on the teg box and $35 on a k&n cone filter, $10 on the metal for making the brackets.
