Here is a little DIY for a homemade trunk carpet.

1. You buy yourself a pice of carpet. color as you like  1,3m x 1,3m

2. Put the old OEM carpet on the new one

3. mark the outline of the OEM carpet on the new one

4. now you cut it out with a sharp knive

5. after that you take some cloth to cover the border ( i used Alcantara )
and stitch it face to face on the carpet

6. the next stepp is you roll the cloth around the border and stitch it again to the carpet

so it looks like this

and this is the end result, a brand new black trunk carpet

Sorry for the white flaces on the carpet, its just some dust.

Nice write up! My trunk carpet is looking pretty worn right now. Guess that would mean I need to buy a sowing machine though.....:3dtard:

Nice job! You should make more and sell them for profit.

That's the kicker right there! I could do so much if I had one.
I bought one for my woman off Kijiji for $60bucks.

Try that or Craigslist for a cheap sewing machine.
