The perfect (CHEAP) way to put beads on the ends of your intercooler pipes...

parts:

1 pair of Vise-Grips

1 exhaust clamp (same size as the pipe)

1 washer

Obviously the tubing has to be thin enough that you can bead it in the first place, but if its not just heat it up and then bead it.

What did you attatch the washer and clamp to the vice grips with?

pretty crafty for sure but as you said, piping would have to be thin. If you already have the welder you can just lay a surface bead all the way around if the piping is too thick.
Good job on being inventive though! +rep for that

I don't understand it, can you take a video or more detailed pictures with some type of explanation?

This is either reposted or you got this from somewhere, because I know Ive seen this before.

Its a pretty slick little setup, since you can create a lot of force with a pair of vice grips. That being said, I suspect the exhaust hanger will eventually start to flair outwards from the force.
