For the last year I have searched & searched & searched& searched for the "easy" way to do this without having to chop, cut, & weld...

My (and members kc8enb & ChrisFrom1986) prayers have not gone unanswered!

First I have to thank & give credit to CLUTCHONE & zanthrax from JDM Chat for helping me.

There are 2 ways to do this:

Method 1:

The Ferio's Hood is about a Inch Longer but itll fit but it wont sit correctly. the 2dr fenders are also too short and will leave a gap from ur door to the fender.

So in order to make it fit good, put the 4dr fender on, and cut off half on the 2dr Fender and welding them together, a Custom fender if u will. but i think that its all worth it...
Method 2:

I found a lot of topics on this subject but they mostly didn't agree.

So I tried myself. I got the black bumper from the 2dr of a friend of mine.

The bumper fits right on there, the bit under the cornerlight needs a little persuasion to get it into place since the 2/3dr corner is a bit shorter. Now pull the side of the bumper out a bit and determine where to drill a hole to screw the bumper on since that hole is a bit more to the back on a 4dr. That's basicly it. The straight edge along the wheelwell is a bit thinner on te 4dr so it doesn't look a 100% right, but IMO the 2/3dr bumper looks a lot better and i've seen aftermarket bumpers with worse fitment.

The hole that holds the bumper to the fender needs to de re-drilled. I didn't trust the thin piece of plastic so is fabricated this little bracket.

This was the initial setup, I removed it for paint and screwed it back in on the inside to make the gap smaller.

Thanks to my OG homies in other countries, because without them & their info, none of this would be possible.

If you are also a member of JDMChat.com, rep them as well.

Glad to have the knowledge to give to my family here on site.

Bleh! Its called a "hatch" for 1 simple reason:

Its like an egg that needs to hatch, grow, and become a real car, like a coupe or sedan.

EXAMPLE:

Hatch=cute newborn baby (one of Brad & Angelina's adopted refugee kids)

Coupe=cool kid in high school (Zach Efron or James Van Der Beek)

Sedan=distinguished older guy (Sean Connery in his James Bond years)

did you just call zach effron cool
Seems cool to me...

you'd be cool too if you were stacking millions of dollars and were fucking Vanessa Hudgens...

1. Some do.
2. Most don't.
3. Yours should be loved. It looks great.

:bigrofl:

Well, now you know how to convert, so find a coupe bumper and get to work!

I'd love to see one of you guys do this. If I can get ahold of this sedan shell, I'll be doing it.

So... I'm somewaht in the process of getting a sedan and all I know is.... when i get $400 to throw around, I'm ordering the white-crow JDM front bumper!!!

something dont look right on that civic, love the color though. btw, your sig or whatever you call that car thingy looks sick

#24 ·
**that looks sick, kinda like a 99-00 but more agressive

i like my stock fo' do bumper since it has an intercooler behind it and the braces hide it well :D

#27 ·
The White-Crow bumper has the same brake ducts as a '99/'00 Civic.

Ever since I saw the White-Crow bumper, I have loved it. And it looks even sexier with the BYS lip on it!
