I picked this trick up a few years ago from another forum. The ebay charge pipe kit required some cutting, and I needed to roll 3 new beads.
You will need:
1 - bench vise
1 - vise grip
1 - 1 1/4" (ish) washer
1 - exhaust clamp for pipe the same size as your pipe
Put the pipe clamp in your vise, and lay your pipe in it (a second set of hands is helpful). Now stick your washer in the pipe and with your vise grips squeeze, rotate, squeeze, rotate... you get the idea.
I have also seen guys weld the clamp and washer to the vise grips, but I prefer to not ruin tools.
