Has anyone here actually used the Delta 260 "torque grind" or known someone who has? I'm curious about it's performance for a daily driver...

Also, has anyone used the 272 and played with the cam timing? What was the best setting for your build?

Any other info would be appreciated as well. Quirks / notable experiences / etc.

This question is valid for both the D16 Vtec and the D16 non-vtec as I plan on getting one of each done.

I have no idea how this accidentally got put in "Forced Induction"

Mods, can you move this to "Engine Building" or "General Tech"? Thanks.

This new setup is jacking up my game...

I've heard from folks the 260 cam really opened up midrange and uprange, on the other hand everyone says they love the 272 cam but they always end up sitting because they cant get it to idle. That's my only fear

Thanks for chiming in, man.
Yeah, I've seen lots of people have issues with the 272 idle.
However, I don't think that will be an issue with an Ostrich.
I'd really love to try the 260 but I don't want to spend the money, ruin a cam and be disappointed with the gains, you know?

I'm thinking I'll end up with the 272 due to it's rep...and then just playing with cam timing to see what I can get out of it. But I'm still open to opinions if anyone with these grinds can chime in.
