I'm pretty sure the 01+ Civic's sport a completely different platform than the previous generation, which would mean that the brakes off a DC5 would most likely not fit.

I can't say for certain though.

The reason I asked is that wilwood has a big brake kit that fits civic 01-05 and dc5 rsx

assuming honda likes to keep their platform similar like previous gens, then civics n teggie parts should be interchangable in terms of things like brakes, but idk cuz i've never owned or done work on them before

Which DC5 are you referring to? Type R, Type S, or Base model RSX?

DC5 refers to the 01+ RSX/Integra

I would venture to say that you only need the caliper brackets, calipers, and rotors.

Since you've got a big brake kit you've probably got all of this.

However, since the RSX is 5 lug and your car is not, you need the 5 lug hubs from an RSX as well.

My 02 EP3 was originally 4-lug and now I have an RSX type S 5 lug including the brakes and full suspension.

04-05 EP3's came equipped with 5 lug and to switch to RSX type S brakes these guys only use have to use the calipers, caliper brackets, and rotors from the Type S.

Your car has the same basic type of suspension as all of the above mentioned vehicles.

Hope this helps...

I know the rears will work with some fab work. There is a guy locally that is running RSX rears on his DC2 which would make them compatible for the EG and with a little more work they would work on your EM. I'll try to find his thread for a DIY on this.

Yes it will work. Make sure you get BASE rsx hub/knuckles. The stock D17 axle fits in those fine. Or 5 lug ep3 ones work too. The type s has a bigger axle.
The rear brakes are all the same between base rsx/type s/ and 04-05 ep3

Front you need rotors, calipers, caliper bracket, hub/knuckle, brake lines (you can use your stock ones if you want) also make sure you get 02-04 front knuckles. the 05-06 use a bigger ball joint that does not fit in the civic front LCA.
in the rear you need the rear knuckle/hub/whatever you wanna call it, calipers, brake lines(drum lines will not work), and the e-brake cables.
I've been running type S brakes on my em2 for over a year now.

Yea us parts should work fine. And type s calipers and rotors bolt up to base hubs just fine. Might need to bend dust shield a little though!
