Damn my engine is blown !!! update

HI guys, i think that my engine blowns!!!!

Yesterday at the track, I do 2 runs without a prob, then on the 3rd run....

Bang !!!!! car make two explotions on 4th gear at about 100 mph and start to smoking very bad.. and was like working only with 2 or 3 pistons, then I wait a few minutes and turn it off, a few minutes later I try to start the car again with never starts, it was doing like battery low.

I open the opened the hood and engine was covered of oil, I don´t know where the oil com from,

Then I wreck the car to my home

I´ll open my engine today to see what happend, damn!!!

I saw a lot of oil coming out of the breather of my catch can, why??

Ringlands all cracked.

No compression, compression test should verify this.

Piston # 4 is fried, it looks not complete!!!!

I´ll take a picture tomorrow.

Tomorrow I´ll put out the block to check all the pistons, but the sleeves look scratched all 4, piston 2 is the most scratched cilinder wall.

I have a spare z6 block, I hope that just one piston is bad.

If this is true, can I just change one piston and rings on four pistons???

I´m gonna need also bearings???

Shit I have one 1/4 mile event on sept 9th!!!

What is the better brand of rings for my setup NPR or Hastings??
On bearings I´m thinking on ACL race...

Please help guys!!!

sorry to hear that bro.
as far as the pistons go, i would carefully examine those remaining pistons. check for blueish discoloration indicating excessive heat.
id use them if they look fine and go with the hastings which is in my vitara setup.
i hope it all goes well

Thanks bro, I´ll contact FJT about pistons and rings.

I´ll take pics of fours piston tomorrow.

Pistons 1,2 and 3 looks black more on the exhaust valves side.

In the other thread you stated that you were in the 14 range AFR in high rpm. That is probably what cause it to blow, running too lean.

Ur ringlands are fucked, the same thing just happened to me a few days ago. Compression on mine was 180 180 180 60 :TD:, time to build up the block...

damn..........that sucks man. Ive been in your shoes......i was there not too long ago.

Too bad my motors not finished yet (in the process). i would sell you my fully built z6 with the crower rods and arias pistons with the built head

That sucks ! It sounds like bad tuning to me? high rpm 14 afr in 4th gear @ 100mph , it should be more like 12.8 afr? you were more than likely pushing 8 psi full boost??? humm

Sorry to hear about that..It seems like you were running lean..you said you had no EGT probe connected?

My egt is working weird, I have to check electrical wiring´s for it.

Spare block is prepared and vitaras, rings and bearings coming..

Saturday this baby most be working with new map for 650 cc injectors and breaking-in for sep 9th race....

300 miles of break-in is ok???

ANd oil cahge at first 100 miles, then 300 miles??'

Yes, my bad, I should wait for tuner diagnostic and new map.
