d17a1 to a2 head swap?

This is a no no, so many things wrong here.
#1 Is the most important, no buying/selling until 90 days member ship and 65 post count plus admin/mod approval.
#2 How do you plan to make this work? The Vtec can't just be added, you will need to "wire" it into a d17a2 computer and get a k-pro immobilizer disable thingy so you can use your factory keys.

A2 head swap doesn't worth it unless you are going to use aftermarket or any kind of regrind to the camshaft.
Besides you don't need anything extra, just swap the heads and use some sort of 12VDC signal to engage the VTEC. Anyway it wont make any power, its not meant to make power, it is to go shopping with extra 2-3mpg's.
