I finally finished my swap on my CRX with D16Z6. I got the engine started and I get a code 9 for Cylinder Position. I thought I have a bad dizzy and replaced that, still getting the same code. Engine runs fine but I can't time the engine, the timing mark is most to the right(viewing from the front). Adjusting the distributor, it will not even reach the timing mark. What do you guys think is wrong? I am thinking that I did not put the timing belt correctly, I will recheck after work. Could this cause the code 9? Is there a trick or procedure to put the timing belt correctly? Thanks for looking.
