Good day guys,

It is my second time rebuilding my d16z6 engine, and this time I got what it seems to be a great cam gear - strong metal, light and good design.

I have 2 questions, since there are no instructions on skunk2 site and none came with the box:

1. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to put the cam gear correctly.
With standart one, you put UP to face UP and allign the marked side with the plastic mark on the botton.

Now it just has 4 corners, and states d16z6 and d16y8 adjustments.

Does anyone have a guide, or a sure way to install this part correctly?

2. The bolts themselves on the cam gear seem a bit weak. Is there a better option? Also, what is the propper torque specs on them, when I decide to adjust the timing on the dyno?

I hope someone has this figured out!

Looks like you've got some timing marks etched onto the cam-gear itself. Put the divot mark up, line the two etched lines up parallel with the head and you should be good. There should be a center-line on the scale etched into the center section, line it up with the etched mark on the gear portion to start.

Snug those bolts but don't over-tighten!
