i and currently swapping in a d16z6 into my 96 ek. i have a y8 tranny and a y8 im witha d15b8 block and z6 head. i have a obd2 to obd1 conversion harness and a obd1 full harness. what is the eastiest way to do th wiring for this swap. i want to run a p28 and a z6 dizzy

if i were you, i would use a y8/manual engine harness.
the obd1 harness won't do you much good, obd2 harnesses go into the cabin whereas obd1 harnesses plug into connectors on the shock tower.
rywire makes the distributor adaptor.
if you use an obd2 alternator, thats one less plug to splice.
also, 'ek style' driverside mounts are angled unlike the d16z6 ones.
IAT differs from obd1/2 in plug style and location.
if you have a y8/manual intake manifold, your purge solenoid/charcoal can will be easier, too.

i swapped a z6 into my 97 dx, using a y8/auto harness.
i searched a lot, and had some challenges, but everything works now.

so get a 96 civic ex harness, get a obd2 to obd1 dizzy jmper harness from rywire?, use my y7 altenator, and what about the IAT?

use your y7 iat
like i said, a y8/manual intake manifold will make the job easier.

use the 96 civic ex harness with a jumper harness so you can use the p28 ecu,your gonna need to use an obd2 alt and injectors too
