Im planing to boost my 93 eg sedan with a p29 high compression block and a crower built head.
-Valve job
Head/
X-crower valve springs,retainers
X-black nitride dome valves
X-Blox stage 1 camshaft

Block/ bore .50+
X-p29 .50+ high compression piston kit
X-aftermarket rods
X-exedy pro series clutch and 18lb flyw.

Exhaust/
Ebay 4-2-1 header
stock exhaust until next summer then i want yonaka exhaust

Ecu/ chipped p28
-Hondata s200
-plan to tune

I have a boshe 255 fuel pump on the way, i know i need fuel injectors. Is there abthing else that im missing and what can i do to maximize performance but at the same time keep daily drivabilty and sound but still have impressive boost and contol. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There is/was a guy on crxcommunity selling a kamikaze header for pretty cheap. I would suggest that over the eBay header. Would also suggest building a custom exhaust with a 2.5" VRS exhaust kit and a resonator/muffler of your choice

I came out at around 162WHP but a slightly depressing 127lbs ft torque but i knew going in without full exhaust it would cost me, im just really curious as to what i could really make with a kamikazi header and full 2" (srs) or (magnaflow) exhaust.
***im also only boosting 4.5 pounds on the 6-7psi pulley***

this is why I went into the dyno open down pipe because I knew that stock would be a restriction and i didnt want to drop money on exhaust lol. Of course im turbo though. Get that exhaust and you should make way more man:)

Ya sorry i meant to say 2.5". I havent really had a chance to drive it more than a couple miles yet i get my license back in 5the week but the little i have taken it up and down the road i noticed the brutal torque response. Im barely touching the gas and turning everything in my rear view into an ant ha.
The best thing is that it runs on e85 and we have atleast 2 stations i can find it at here.

I LOVE the flat torque the JRSC always delivers!

Nice build.

don't think of the pulley as what will determine your manifold pressure. I had the "10psi" pulley but only made like ~8psi on the gauge. When you open up the exhaust the pressure will drop but you will make more power. A highly over looked aspect of any header is the collector size most are small in order to bolt up to stock exhaust or slightly larger aftermarket exhaust. I had a DC 4-1 1-piece header that I had the collector modified to 2.5" to bolt up to my 2.5" mandrel bent piping. you don't want any restriction. 162whp is a huge achievement, when I had my jrsc setup I knew to make any real power I would have to up the compression. I glad to see someone follow through with it. to my knowledge ~170whp on the m45 jrsc kit on a single cam was the ceiling I think with slight improvements you would surpass that.

Thanks guys i actually dont plan on doing a smaller i just want to make strong realiable build so i dont really plan on boosting anymore than 7psi. hopefully with the new exhaust and some new motor mounts ill be right around my goal of 185whp-200hp! Im also curious to see how my torque willl change.
