I'm not messing around with the rotor pack this time - Not changing bearings, not messing with the seals, not having to retime the rotors, I'm just flipping it around.
Fantastic! Man, that piston looks like death. I'm sure it made one heck of a sound while it ate itself. Glad to see you're going back with it. Think a retainer/keeper failed or just the valve broke?
It's dropped before, only minor damage. I think the valve repair wasn't done well. It was cut too deep into the seat and maybe the guide wasn't right. The keeper was still on. The valve broke off at the stem. There was surprising little noise or clatter.

So going to finally start my build have goten everything except for the turbo, fuel pump, injectors and cam. Unfortunately delta is down right now because of the rioting so I'm going with a 282-2 delta cam when I can get them to send me one. So as of right now I have:
