Yes, unfortunately i did not build it my self... i am learning i love hondas but my friend put it all together for me. im having a few problems with it so im trying to iron it out.

i have a lot of the same parts

i went with the fj rods though.

your compression will drop to 7.1 with eagles vitaras and with fj there 8.5

really i didn know that. that sucks wont matter few months it will be having compressed air pushed in it will make up for that

im not driving it yet there is a odd gap between the oilpan and block can snug it up so im suppose to be getting a new oilpan this week

Nice work so far! Gotta learn somehow though, right? I'll be in the same boat too when I start my build.

Also, am I seeing something wrong, or are your rotors really rusty in that first picture?

the compression is not really a big deal. you can make some up by milling the head and a thinner headgasket.

also did you notch your block?

yes they are very rusty it sat for almost a year before i decide what i was gona do with it and accumulated enough funds.
First i wanted to build a N/A b18 but had a hard time finding a crank. and i realized it would just be easier to stay with the D-series i wouldn have to get new mounts trany linkage and such. so i took my money bought the D and ordered the parts to make her strong now im just trying to fix little things to make it road worthy

yes did notch the block. had to wait for ever to get the grinder to cut through the girdle but it finally came.
