ok i know this answer is on here somwhere but i cant find it. what i want to know is if the d16a1 pistons will do the same in the d16y8 block as it does in the d16z6, which would be raising the comp. i want to keep it daily driven and make more power w/o doing a swap

yes, they will work. THe PM7/P29 pistons will raise you compression more in your Y8 than they will in a Z6. You'll be lookin at a comp ratio of around 12.5-13.1:1.

correct just about what it will raise it too




haven't people found out how to use these compression calculators before asking the same questions jesus. google that shit next time
