Hello my name is jack and I'm currently planning on a "Fun Daily Car"

I Drive a "Honda Del Sol From 1996"
135268

It's an alright car. some fun add on parts.

"BUT Let's Continue"

I was looking for around 400HP

I will make a small list down here so we don't have to read that much! it's a list what I want! not what I have :)

Head = stock "cam,retainers,valves everything".
Bore gonna leave it stock (the block haves 183.xxxKM or 113.xxxMiles)

SLEEVE = NO
Hondata= s300 v3

Piston: YCP Vitara pistons 75mm

Rods: EAGLE RODS 4340 h-beam

However, there is a combo set from Speedfactory.
Right Here I would love to get you're thought on this (reliability) for 400HP

King Bearings Race Performance Rod Bearings
ARP Performance Rod Bolts Honda
Walbro Fuel Pump 255LPH
ACL crankshaft Bearings Race Serie
ARP HEADSTUDS ASWELL
car 1.jpg

I Found 2 injectors I really don't know much about it only that I should be running around 750cc
RC Engineering Peak & Hold Injector PL4 1

RC Engineering Saturated Injector 2

I probably forgot some stuff "it's kinda late, below u will find another list with some question.

1. Fixed
2. The combo sets come with a Longer rod "this will cause the compression to go up or I go with the eagle and there are lowered, But with a turbo would it still be save? Not os much info tho, Emusa t3/t4 u probably can't read anything(language)
3. I heard I need to do something about my oil pump, like bore/hone it slightly
5. catch can needed?

I think this is enough information to get this thread rolling.

My thoughts
1.kinda budget(necessary for reliability)
2. 300-400HP
3. the previous(turbo) owner told me the turbo probably could do 400 MAX without a wastegate then I guess.
any questions u may have just ask, and all help is appreciated!

jeez wanted to close it but to much links... for a rookie.

i cant get around it i have to remove them all.....

I have read all, and i can't see any helpfull information sorry! its all just like look my build, or yea this turbo or here u have a bunch of stuff and pictures ect ect.

I have read so much other better threads that are better than this and i'm looking for
Other information i guess, let's say it easy, the things i listed would that be good for a "reliable engine"

If not i can pay more to make it reliable but i have to know if i'm missing out on something.

I just shown you builds of people making upwards of 500hp......literally shows you what parts they used to make that much power.

why Hondata?
Hondata is more supported in my country, and I have not found horsepower behind the couch maybe this thread can help? or maybe I just have the feeling you guys are fooling around instead of helping?

Not want to be rude but, it feels like you're not taking this serious?

I think the point is being made that you're a bit quick to dismiss the info in the links that Slo posted. I think there's a lot of good stuff there.

There may also be an issue in that your own start to the thread looks like a wish list without any sense of how you're going to go about the improvements. Further on, you talk about 3000-4000€ but don't tell us if that's just for parts or does it include workshop labour? A quote for getting my Z6 to 'only' 250bhp was nearly double that.

I like to fantasise about dropping an LS engine into my Prelude and turning it into 4WD, but I wouldn't dream of simply writing down a list of parts and asking what have I missed - especially not in a forum I've only just joined and haven't had time to explore properly.

I see how this all looks, and for 3000-4000 I can easily obtain 300-400hp. I was talking about only parts and not the machinery of it, but its all good I don't want to proceed with this thread. and this is my second account because the email to redeem my password was never send. I just made this thread cause I like to hear what other people's thoughts are. but instead, I will just type my questions in google and will find them elsewhere.

Sorry to waste all of your time
