So I'm considering buying this Ebay clutch kit for my Ek hatch
(Im not here to discuss if ebay is good or not, just want to see if it will work)
So it says it fits 92-05 civcs which is kinda weird since thats 3 different generations. It says it ins't compatible with my CX hatch but the closest model that is says it will fit is the 2000 HX with the D16Y5. I know that all the d16Y8 parts are interchangeable with my Y7, so is it the same with the Y5? or will it not work? Any help is appreciated.

This XTD Stage 3 clutch kit fits 1992-2004 Honda Civic all Model (D15,D16 & D17 motor) and 1993-1995 Honda Civic Del Sol, 1.5/1.6L, (Except DOHC V-Tec Si Model)
The reason is the 96-00 CX HB D16Y7 used a left over 1989 Civic/CRX 200mm clutch disc instead of the standard 212mm for 90-2000, but all the other parts interchange, including the discs. The flywheel surface is large enough to handle the 200mm and 212mm disc with the same pressure plate.

But why do you need so much clutch?
