So here's my deal. I had a blown mini me set up (d15b/y8) with a z6 i/m.

What i have now is a d16a6 vtec that i was told was pulled from a 94.

my plan is to slap on the z6 i/m and tb and use my p28.

my question now is will my z6 dizzy bolt up and be used or will i need to gut an a6 dizzy?

it looks like the other sensors should work (coolant temp, an switch, etc).

just wanna try and get stuff on track before i slap this in tomorrow.

The A6 isn't vtec, heads can be swapped so you may want to confirm what you have. Check the casting code on the head.

The only head a Z6 distributor will bolt up to is a Z6 (P08).

now that i got a chance to look turns out it has a z6 head on it already. guess i got sold a a6/z6 mini me on the fly by happen chance.

so aside from the water pump and belt (from what i've read should be a z6 belt? no adjustment to timing like the d15b/y8 set up?) though it does have an adjustable cam on it already.

should have the swap done tomorrow all things considered, and hopefully this a6/z6 lasts longer than the 15/y8 before i can beef up the internals.

The A6/Z6 combo is pretty good. I think you will like it over the mini me you had before.

though it does have an adjustable cam on it already.
I wish I had an adjustable cam...

you're probably going to have to change the driver's side post mount from a 4th gen style to the 5th gen
