well after spending 2 hours searching i got to this link http://www.d-series.org/forums/showthread.php?t=67562&highlight=d16a6 which helped me the most but i still have 1 question...

what do i do with the unneeded plugs?

Right now i have a d15b7 installed and i have a a6 long-block laying around (block and head) and i wanna swap it into my eg sedan.

i read in another thread to just leave them hanging but i will run into check engine light on and other little problems!

help please and thanks!

I am not very familiar with OBD1 setups, but I'd recomend getting your ECU chipped and you can turn off the codes for sensors you don't need. However, the only thing I can think of that won't work directly is the VTEC stuff, if you had VTEC in there originally. Since the B7 and A6 are very similar, if you are running a B7 now, I think that you have everything you need to make the A6 swap work.
