I have an 85 civic si, with d16a1 dohc motor, gsp t3t4 57trim turbo, im runing obd0, i have a p28, and a obd1 jumper for it, but i put the p28 in, and it wont even start! Please help

Im running 450cc injectors, and and when i put the obd1 (p28) ecu in it wont even start my car!

And i need the ecu working etc so i can get a street tune on it.

It will turn over just fine, just wont actually crank the car! The p28 (was told!!!) Has a basemap for 5psi! I have all the tuning stuff i need to get a street tune on it myself! Just need to get it where the p28 will start the car and let it run

Have spark ... fuel pump priming? Have you eliminated all of the silly stuff that might cause a no start issue?

Does it even chug like it's trying to catch?


Waitaminute ... you're running obd0 but you have an obd1 ecu and jumper? Have you actually done all of the neccesary conversion stuff to run that obd1 ecu?

Are u even running an obd1 distributor?

I'm.willing to wager that's a negative...

Save your $ ,stay obd0 and tune with turboedit
I am with this guy. Solid call, bet you are right!!
